Vertiv (NYSE: VRT), a global leader in critical digital infrastructure, will participate as a silver sponsor at the upcoming IoT West Africa 2026 event, with Vertiv experts highlighting how power and cooling infrastructure can support the region’s evolving AI and digital workloads. Taking place from 28–30 April at the Landmark Centre in Lagos, IoT West Africa will be held alongside the Data Center & Cloud Expo Africa, bringing together technology and infrastructure stakeholders to discuss Africa’s digital transformation across key sectors within the region.

At the Vertiv stand 1F01, IoT West Africa attendees will have the opportunity to learn about:

·       Vertiv™ 360AI, a comprehensive portfolio of validated designs for AI and high-performance computing (HPC), spanning the end-to-end power train and thermal chain.

·       Vertiv™ SmartAisle™, with demonstrations of the pre-engineered edge data centre solution, with integrated power, cooling, monitoring and control systems, on stand.

·       The Vertiv™ XR mobile app, which allows IT managers, data centre operators and channel partners to visualise and interact with infrastructure solutions within their own physical location, using photo‑realistic, interactive 3D models.

·       This includes access to the Vertiv™ Virtual Showroom, providing an immersive virtual reality experience where users can explore a curated portfolio of digital infrastructure solutions through interactive 3D models and visual demonstrations.

On 29 April at 11:30, Gary Chomse, Vertiv's regional director for Central and Southern Africa, will participate in a fireside chat on the role of colocation services in driving Africa’s digital transformation, as well as looking at key challenges and opportunities in the sector. In addition, later that day, at 12:00, Luther Ogbaji, high density and liquid cooling specialist at Vertiv, will be presenting on the next iteration of liquid cooling for the high-ambient climate of Nigeria, namely immersion and direct-to-chip cooling.
