Resilience Takes Centre Stage at SAIPA Accounting iNdaba 2026
The accountancy profession is undergoing sustained pressure from evolving regulation, economic uncertainty, and increasing expectations for insight beyond compliance. In this environment, resilience is no longer optional, it is a professional requirement.
The South African Institute of Professional Accountants will host the Accounting iNdaba 2026 under the theme “The Resilient Professional”, taking place on 17–18 June 2026 at Vodaworld in Midrand.
The iNdaba will convene leaders from practice, business, the public sector, and academia to engage on the critical issues shaping the accountancy profession. Key focus areas include leadership, governance, trust, innovation, and the profession’s role in delivering sustainable value in a rapidly changing environment.
The programme is structured to move beyond discussion, offering practical insight into how accountancy professionals can respond to current challenges while maintaining high standards of accountability, relevance, and ethical conduct.
As part of its role in advancing the profession, SAIPA is creating a platform that not only reflects on current realities but actively contributes to shaping the future direction of accountancy in South Africa.
Members of the media are invited to attend and cover the iNdaba. Media are also encouraged to engage with SAIPA ahead of the event for background briefings, expert commentary, and deeper insight into the themes that will define the discussions.
Members of the media are requested to confirm attendance or indicate their interest in covering the event by no later than Thursday, 07 May 2026.
