Name of the Project
Kal East – Lakewood Mill expansion.

Location
Near Kalgoorlie, Western Australia.

Project Owner/s
Operator and 100% owner of the Lakewood gold-processing facility, Black Cat Syndicate.

Project Description
Black Cat reported first processing of a 10 000 t parcel of Fingals and Majestic ore through the Lakewood gold processing facility in February 2026.

The company is expanding the processing facility from 1.2-million tonnes a year to 1.5-million tonnes a year, a 25% increase. This will support increased volumes of 100%-owned ore from the Fingals openpit and Majestic underground mines at Kal East.

The expansion of the Lakewood processing facility is intended to leverage existing infrastructure, including commissioning the existing Dunford mill, while the plant continues operating at 1.2-million tonnes a year during upgrade works.

Fingals and Majestic are expected to become the primary ore sources for Lakewood during 2026 and to remain so for about four years; run-of-mine stockpiles were reported at 114 000 t.

The company expects unit processing costs to decline with higher throughput.
