JSE-listed investment group Salungano Group's board has resolved that CEO Robinson Ramaite should remain CEO until March 31, 2027, saying the decision was made after consideration of the current circumstances of the company.

Ramaite's employment as CEO was due to have come to an end on April 1 this year.

Salungano's mining operations include four coal mines in South Africa's Mpumalanga province, as well as a 50% interest in another coal mining joint venture in the province.
