New hoist chain systems simplfy heavy lifting processes

PEWAG COMPONENTS Pewag components available from BMG include conveyor chains for bulk materials handling, connection links designed for ease of maintenance and specialised attachments that improve conveying efficiency
Industrial equipment and components supplier BMG has been appointed as the exclusive authorised distributor for chain systems and lifting solutions company Pewag, in Southern Africa.
BMG power transmission division business unit manager Carlo Beukes says that Pewag’s conveyor and hoist chain systems are engineered for “tough” industries – such as mining, power generation and industrial sectors – and will be supplied to these industries as part of this agreement.
“The Pewag product range is suitable for safe use in arduous conditions where reliability and performance are critical. Pewag components available from BMG include conveyor chains for bulk materials handling, connection links designed for ease of maintenance and specialised attachments that improve conveying efficiency.
“Accurately machined wheels and sprockets ensure precise chain engagement and extended system life,” Beukes adds.
BMG’s technical specialists help customers with component selection, installation and performance optimisation to ensure dependable operation, enhanced safety and reduced downtime.
“This partnership enhances BMG’s commitment to supplying the local market with internationally proven technologies that optimise productivity, safety and cost-efficient operation. Our teams are undergoing intensive Pewag training to ensure technical product knowledge and application expertise. Local stockholding guarantees quick delivery and dependable support throughout the region,” concludes Beukes.
