Project Description
The definitive feasibility study proposes the development of a vertically integrated mining and processing industrial complex designed to produce high-quality spodumene concentrate at 5.5% lithium oxide grade.

Production is estimated at 150 000 t/y, shipped directly to port with minimal tailings generation using 100% dry processing A two-stage dense-media separation circuit with primary and secondary separators is expected to maximise spodumene recovery.

Potential Job Creation
The project is expected to generate more than 5 000 direct and indirect jobs in the Jequitinhonha Valley, a developing region of Minas Gerais.

Net Present Value/Internal Rate of Return
The project has an estimated after-tax net present value of $539-million and an after-tax internal rate of return of 145%, with an 11-month payback period.

Capital Expenditure
$57.56-million.

Planned Start/End Date
First production of lithium oxide concentrate is expected in the fourth quarter of 2027.
