Creamer Media’s Mining Weekly has launched a new daily email newsletter and related webpage to consolidate its global resources coverage under the Mining Weekly International banner. Each weekday, these new platforms will provide a comprehensive roundup of the most significant news and developments in the world of mining.

The Mining Weekly International newsletter will be sent out to readers each Monday to Friday at 15:00 Central European Time and Central Africa Time (CAT), or 09:00 Eastern Standard Time in the United States and 21:00 Australian Western Standard Time.

No action is required by readers, as all readers currently receiving the Australasia, North & South America and Global newsletters from Creamer Media, will automatically be registered to receive the new Mining Weekly International newsletter, offering a single channel into the latest global resources news.

“The chief benefit of the new format is that readers will be able to receive, in a single email, a round-up of breaking international mining news each day.  Our advertisers also stand to gain from increased exposure, as their marketing campaigns will now be seen both in the regions that they have historically targeted as well as by a wider international mining audience,” says Mining Weekly founder and publishing editor Martin Creamer.

The new Mining Weekly International newsletter will initially be emailed to over 18 000 registered readers daily, with significant future growth potential.

As part of the strategy, the Mining Weekly website has been restructured to include an Africa home page and an International home page. Readers will be able to navigate between the Africa and International home pages through prominent navigation icons placed under the main Mining Weekly masthead at the top of the webpage.

There will be no change to the website’s Africa home page, which will continue to provide live access to African mining news. Readers based on the African continent will continue to be directed automatically to the Africa home page when they visit www.miningweekly.com. Functionality is available for Africa-based readers to choose to rather be directed automatically to the Mining Weekly International page if they prefer, and to change this setting as and when required.

Readers from outside of the African continent will automatically be directed to Mining Weekly’s International home page when visiting www.miningweekly.com. There will also be an option for such readers who are interested primarily in African mining news, to select the Africa home page as their default edition, and to adjust this setting as required.

No changes are planned for the Mining Weekly Africa daily email newsletter, which is sent to over 21 000 readers each day.  The Mining Weekly Africa newsletter will continue to be sent out at 01:30 CAT, five days a week from Tuesday to Saturday.

Mining Weekly’s various social media feeds on LinkedIn, X and Facebook will continue to be updated regularly.
