Rapid advances in AI and robotics are at once impressive and disturbing. The potential for productivity gains means that no business will be able to ignore these solutions. The full implications of that on jobs is not immediately known. At the very least, some serious turbulence is expected, but there are also warnings of a potential catastrophe. The outcome cannot be left to chance alone, and governments need to begin taking hold of the AI-regulation wheel.
