Canadian miner Inflection Resources' wholly-owned Australian subsidiary has been awarded three exploration grants worth A$300 000 by the Northern Territory government's Geophysics and Drilling Collaborations Programme.

The grants will be applied to planned exploration drilling and geophysical surveys on the Endurance project, where Inflection is exploring for large iron oxide/copper/gold deposits over a 4 200 km2 area.

In particular, the programme awarded A$140 000 for drilling on the Flashlight target, A$80 000 for an induced polarisation and magnetotelluric geophysics programme over the Bigeye and Barreleye targets and another A$80 000 for drilling on these same targets after the geophysical survey.

The targets all comprise large coincident magnetic and gravity anomalies considered positive for iron oxide/copper/gold-style mineralisation.

Inflection expects to start field activities associated with the grants during the 2026 Northern Territory field season, subject to final grant documentation and contractor availability. Notably, all Aboriginal clearances, pastoralist agreements and government permits to drill are in place.

Inflection CEO Alistair Waddell says the Australian government's continued support for innovative, technically-driven exploration is helping to unlock the significant mineral potential of the Northern Territory region.
