TSX- and NYSE-listed Cameco has resumed operations at its 57%-owned Cigar Lake uranium mine, in Saskatchewan, after a temporary suspension from July 1 owing to challenges at the downstream Orano McClean Lake mill where Cigar Lake ore is processed.

The McClean Lake mill has resumed operations after it conducted repairs to address operational issues with the sulphuric acid plant at the mill.

Cameco affirms its full-year production outlook has not been affected by the halt and remains intact at between 17.5-million and 18-million pounds of uranium oxide.
