England-based La Mancha Resource Capital, which manages the La Mancha Resource Fund, has announced it will increase its shareholding in TSX-V-listed Greenheart Gold from about 4.6% to 19.9%.

The fund is to acquire the shares at a price of C$1 apiece.

The private placement is being undertaken alongside participation from TSX-listed G Mining Ventures Corporation, which is expected to subscribe on a pro rata basis to maintain its ownership interest, as well as other supportive shareholders, including members of Greenheart’s board and management.

The subscription is expected to close on or about April 30.

La Mancha’s increased investment reflects its continuing conviction in Greenheart’s team, its existing portfolio of exploration projects and its broader exploration strategy.

Since La Mancha’s entry investment in 2024, Greenheart has rapidly assembled a significant and highly prospective land position in Guyana and Suriname, in South America, supported by strong in-country relationships that are critical to sourcing, securing and consolidating land in the region.

Greenheart has also moved quickly to advance exploration across its Guiana Shield portfolio, in Venezuela, with strong recent drill results and follow-up drilling at Majorodam, alongside new mineralised trends at Igab and initial trenching success at Tosso Creek.

La Mancha chief technical officer Jack Lunnon says Greenheart’s deep in-country relationships, access to highly prospective and underexplored geology, as well as its disciplined, technically led approach to exploration and capital allocation sets them apart.

“In frontier jurisdictions such as Suriname and Guyana, successful discovery requires a combination of geological rigour and strong operational execution. The recent positive drill results at Majorodam, together with encouraging trench results at Igab and Tosso Creek, demonstrate the Greenheart team’s ability to deliver on both fronts.

“We are excited to support the team as they accelerate exploration and pursue the next generation of discoveries,” Lunnon adds.
