Scandinavian gold producer Akobo Minerals produced about 37 kg of doré gold from its Ethiopian operations in the second quarter ended June 30, marking the strongest quarterly production period since start of operations.

June Doré gold production was about 10 kg. Cumulative doré production to date is about 134 kg.

Lower-grade stockpile available for processing stood at about 650 t.

Operations continued normally throughout June, supported by stable mining and processing activities and no fuel-related disruptions.

Development of the vertical shaft and subshaft also continued during June.

Based on current observations, Akobo believes the shaft is entering the final transition into hard rock, which is expected to support more efficient shaft development.
