Addressing the significant challenges in the gold mining sector in Tanzania

The extracted ore is crushed, ground into a powder, mixed with water and chemicals, and then processed to produce gold doré bars with high gold content.

The thickening process is used in mining to separate solids and liquids. It involves gravitational force to separate the two and is crucial for reclaiming water in mining operations. The rake drive mechanism plays a key role in pushing settled solids towards the centre of the tank for collection and removal. Monitoring and regular maintenance of the rake drive are essential for efficient operation.
