Biennial tradeshow Electra Mining Africa 2026 will introduce a host of new features, including a brand new Orange Zone area that will be situated in the Arena at the Expo Centre, more theme days, and a new mascot. Electra Mining organisers Montgomery Group Africa portfolio director Charlene Hefer explains that, because there was insufficient outside space for exhibitors in 2024, opening up this space for a new zone will accommodate those additional exhibitors who want to exhibit outside. “This adds to the existing Red, Blue, Green and Yellow Zones outside.”

Given the realities around climate change and ongoing challenges relating to the provision, stewardship and use of water in South Africa, this increased interest is likely to persist, which is why it is particularly apt that RWS – a division of Action Instruments – will be showcasing SEIBOLD heavy metal analysers, as well as the WESS Global sludge level and density meters at Electra Mining Africa 2026.

The true value of a generator investment lies in maintaining optimal performance throughout its operational life, safeguarding warranties and ensuring equipment runs at peak efficiency. This is where original equipment manufacturer (OEM) after-sales service and maintenance contracts prove their worth, says commercial generator and lighting supplier HIMOINSA Southern & East Africa. Since becoming part of the Yanmar Group in 2015, HIMOINSA Southern & East Africa has established itself as the fastest-growing subsidiary in HIMOINSA's global network.
Weba Chute Systems is world-renowned for ensuring that its custom-engineered chutes add immediate and significant value to customers profitability, uptime and on-site health and safety. The companyís scientific approach to the dynamics of bulk materials handling at transfer points has been fine-tuned over decades of experience, with its success demonstrated in almost 5,000 chutes installed globally. A key principle at the heart of Weba designs is controlled flow, ensuring longer wear life of chutes and components, more uptime, less dust and less noise. Chute solutions are configured to control the direction, flow and velocity of the required volume and type of material. With this customised approach, technical teams analyse the specifics of application including throughput requirements, the materials size and shape, and the belts width and speed.
