TSX- and NYSE-listed uranium supplier Cameco has announced re-elections of nine of its board members as approved by shareholders on May 7.

The appointments include Tammy Cook-Searson, Catherine Gignac, Tim Gitzel, Marie Inkster, Kathryn Jackson, Don Kayne, Peter Kukielski, Dominique Minière and Leontine van Leeuwen-Atkins.

Cook-Searson is chief of the Lac La Ronge Indian Band, which is the largest First Nation in Saskatchewan,

Cameco chairperson Gignac has been on Cameco’s board since 2014 while Gitzel has been CEO of the company since 2011.
